Dr. Miranda has over a ten years’ experience working on developing technological solutions for the Department of Defense. In collaboration with the Air Force Research Lab, Dr. Miranda developed a patented biometric technology that uses static UHF/VHF radar scattering measurements, dosimetry estimates and anthropologic measurements to uniquely identify individuals. She also consults on grant writing, IRB protocol development, educational research and scientific editing projects.
