In this part, we will review the Research Strategy sections: Significance, Innovation and
Approach. Budgeting will be discussed in detail. We will also review the importance of
advisory committees, academic collaborators and the value of Preliminary Data. We will
wrap up with the structure and requirements for the Commercialization section.
About the Speaker
Dr.O’Halloran, PhD in Psychophysiology, has more than 20 years of experience with the SBIR program and has received funding from the National Institute on Aging (NIA), National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the National Institute on Neurological Diseases and Stroke (NINDS). He has served as principal investigator on more than 20 grants, totaling more than $10M, and has sat on study sections for over 10 years. Dr. O’Halloran is an experienced SBIR educator and presenter.
